Funding

QODL is part of the Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies.
As such, the International Scientific Board oversees the scientific activities of QODL.

The project titled “Quantum Optical Technologies” was carried out within the International Research Agendas programme of the Foundation for Polish Science co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund. The Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies (QOT) explores quantum phenomena, such as superpositions and entanglement, in optical and optically controlled systems, with the long-term prospects of their practical utilisation. The Centre has been established by the University of Warsaw in partnership with the University of Oxford under the International Research Agenda Programme operated by the Foundation for Polish Science. It is hosted by the Centre of New Technologies, an interdisciplinary scientific unit of the University of Warsaw focused on research and technology development. The director of QOT is Prof Konrad Banaszek.
